Agnaldo Andrade joined HMC Capital in 2012 and currently serves as Partner and Head of Brazil Distribution, leading the firm’s distribution platform and client coverage in Brazil. Since joining, he has played a central role in expanding HMC Capital’s presence in the Brazilian market and developing commercial relationships across alternative investment strategies and solutions.

He has more than 20 years of experience in capital markets, asset management, and insurance, including more than 15 years leading commercial teams across these sectors. Before joining HMC Capital, he founded Itajuba Investimentos in 2008. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Managing Director at Icatu Hartford Seguros S.A., a joint venture between Grupo Icatu and Hartford Life. Earlier, he held senior roles at Grupo Icatu in Brazil, including Commercial Director for Institutional Clients at Banco Icatu, Icatu Investimentos, and BBA Icatu Investimentos.

Agnaldo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cândido Mendes University in Brazil and completed the Executive MBA Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Natalia Biagi Lima started working with HMC Capital in 2021 and serves as Head of Human Resources, supporting the firm’s people strategy, organizational culture, and inclusive, development-oriented work environments.

She has more than 20 years of experience across telecommunications, SaaS, fintech, and healthcare, with roles focused on people management and human resources.

Natalia holds an Executive MBA in Strategic Human Resources Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Vinicius Bueno Lima joined HMC Capital in 2023 and currently serves as Partner and Head of Institutional Sales in Brazil, overseeing relationships and distribution efforts with Brazilian institutional investors, including pension funds, State and Municipals pension plans and insurance companies.

He has more than 25 years of experience in asset management, mainly in distribution and institutional investor coverage in Brazil. Before joining HMC Capital, he worked at Trígono Capital, Schroders, Sul América Investimentos, Porto Seguro, BlackRock, Itaú Asset Management, and UAM (Unibanco Asset Management).

Vinicius holds a degree in Business Administration, an MBA in Financial Sector Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP), a master’s degree in Financial Economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and the global CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) certification.

Leonardo Camozzato joined HMC Capital in 2010 and currently serves as Partner and CEO of HMC Brazil, leading the firm’s Brazilian operations and international expansion into Europe and the United Kingdom. He has been involved in every stage of HMC Capital’s development in Brazil since 2010.

Before joining the firm, he worked as a Senior Investment Consultant for pension funds and insurance companies at Mercer Investment Consulting and as an Internal Consultant at Santander, both in Madrid, Spain. Earlier, he worked at Icatu, a Brazilian financial group, where he helped create the Icatu Vanguarda asset management division and position it in the local inflation-linked bond market for institutional clients.

Leonardo is an actuary from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), holds a master’s degree in Financial Management from Instituto de Empresa Business School (IE) in Spain, and completed the Executive Private Equity Diploma at London Business School.

Ian Cao joined Gama Investimentos, HMC Capital’s feeder fund platform, in 2018 and currently serves as CIO. He oversees processes related to feeder fund management, controls and executes fund trading, including FX and purchases of international funds, participates in product and market update discussions with institutional investors, and serves on the Manager Approval Committee.

Before joining Gama, he worked at Bozano Investimentos after joining the firm in 2012. Earlier, he was a partner and portfolio manager at the hedge fund Paineiras Investimentos, Head of Fixed Income and Credit at Icatu Hartford, where he oversaw approximately USD 5 billion in proprietary and third-party capital, fixed income portfolio manager at Mercatto Gestão, and a risk and fixed income analyst at Banco Icatu.

Ian holds a degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

Daniel Dancourt joined HMC Capital in 2013 and currently serves as Partner and Head of Credit, leading HMC Capital’s credit strategies and solutions.

Before joining HMC Capital, he was Investment Manager at AFP Integra, Peru’s largest private pension fund manager, where he was responsible for three portfolios with approximately USD 10 billion in assets under management. Earlier at AFP Integra, he served as Equity Portfolio Manager and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, leading strategy and trading for local and international investments. He began his career as a Market Risk Assistant at BankBoston Peru.

Daniel holds a degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico in Peru and an MBA from Columbia University, where he graduated with Dean’s Honors. He is a CFA Charterholder and was a board member of CFA Society Peru.

Rodrigo Aloi joined HMC Capital in 2020 as Liquid Products Associate and currently serves as Head of Strategy & Research – Liquids. He leads strategic research initiatives that support industry analysis, market intelligence, and the development of investment solutions alongside institutional investors. He also manages HMC Capital’s relationships with global asset managers across the liquid strategies platform.

Before joining HMC Capital, Rodrigo worked at Claritas as a Macro Analyst, working alongside the firm’s Chief Economist to monitor major global political and economic events and support portfolio managers in the decision-making process.

Rodrigo holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and is a CFA charterholder.

Carolina da Leva joined HMC Capital in 2023 as a Sales & Distribution Specialist focused on ultra-high-net-worth clients and family offices, and currently serves as Head of Sales – Alternatives Brazil. She leads strategic sales and distribution efforts for alternative investment strategies in Brazil.

Before joining HMC Capital, she was an Associate Partner at M Square, where she managed relationships with institutional investors and helped develop this client segment within the firm. Earlier, she worked as an analyst in Corporate & Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Carolina holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and completed studies in finance at UCLA.

Francisco Dianderas joined HMC Capital in 2011 and currently serves as Partner and Co-Head of Structuring & Operations. He supports product structuring and oversees operations related to HMC Capital’s investment strategies.

Before joining HMC Capital, he was Chief Operating Officer at LarrainVial Peru, where he participated in the firm’s authorization process and launch in the Peruvian capital markets. During that period, he was also involved in structuring closed-end funds for Peruvian institutional investors focused on Private Equity, Real Estate, High Yield Fixed Income, Small Cap Equities, and Exchange Traded Funds. Earlier, he worked at Peru’s Securities and Exchange Commission, where he participated in structuring products that allowed offshore junior mining companies to trade locally, as well as instruments such as call options and short selling.

Francisco holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Católica Santa María and an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Nicolás Fonseca joined HMC Capital in 2017 as Co-Head of Distribution and, since 2018, has served as Head of Distribution – Liquids. He leads the distribution of liquid strategies and client relationships for this line of business.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Before joining HMC Capital, he was Associate Director of Equities at BTG Pactual, focusing on local equities, ADRs, and ETFs. Earlier, he served as Portfolio Manager of Asian Equities at AFP Provida, where he managed an approximately USD 5 billion portfolio.

Nicolás holds a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering from Universidad de Chile and an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.

Nicholas Franco joined HMC Capital in 2019 and currently serves as Partner and Head of Growth & Venture, leading HMC Capital’s venture capital, growth, and venture fund of funds platforms.

Before joining HMC Capital, he was Vice President at GSV Asset Management, an asset management firm focused on venture and growth-stage companies. At GSV, he led operations, strategic partnerships, and new product initiatives, including the firm’s co-investment platform. He began his venture capital career as an operator, leading business development at ConnectEDU, one of the early venture-backed companies in education technology.

Nicholas holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University. He also serves on the Silicon Valley Board of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, an organization focused on youth entrepreneurship education.

Marcella Frioli joined HMC in 2020 as a Sales Analyst covering Global Fund Distribution (Alternative Investments). She currently serves as Sales & Distribution – Liquid & Evergreen Funds at Gama Investimentos, HMC Capital’s feeder fund platform, leading the distribution and growth of global liquid and evergreen strategies in Brazil.

Before becoming a Partner in March 2025, she worked as Sales Associate for Global Fund Distribution (Alternative Investments) from 2022 to 2025, after initially serving as HMC Sales Analyst – Global Fund Distribution (Alternative Investments) from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining HMC Capital, Marcella worked at XP Investimentos, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Safra.

Marcella holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), a master’s degree in Financial Management from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, and completed studies in Business Administration and Economics at The Berlin School of Economics and Law.

Claudio Guglielmetti joined HMC Capital in 2013 and currently serves as Partner and Head of Retail Distribution, leading the distribution of investment strategies and solutions for the retail segment.

Before joining HMC Capital, he held management roles across several industries. In 2000, he joined LarrainVial, where he spent 12 years developing the asset management division for high-net-worth individuals and corporate distribution, as well as regional distribution channels and branches in Chile. In 2008, he was appointed Partner at LarrainVial.

Claudio holds a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad de Chile and an MBA from Universidad Gabriela Mistral in Chile.

Susana Gutierrez joined HMC Capital in 2022 and currently serves as Head of Strategy & Research – Alternatives. She develops market intelligence for the private equity industry, supports due diligence processes, analyzes new investment opportunities, and creates proprietary content aimed at strengthening investor education in alternative assets across the region.

She has more than 15 years of experience across several areas of the financial sector, including capital markets, alternative assets, and responsible investments. Before joining HMC Capital, she worked at financial institutions and pension funds in Colombia.

Susana holds a degree in Economics from EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia. She also has a specialization in Finance and a master’s degree in Financial Management.

Felipe Held co-founded HMC Capital in 2009 and currently serves as CEO. He has led the firm’s development, international expansion, and proprietary investment products, and is a member of the Investment Committee overseeing HMC Capital’s multi-asset investment platform across Private Equity, Venture/Growth, Credit, and Real Estate strategies.

He has extensive experience building and managing long-term businesses in the alternative investments industry. Before founding HMC Capital, he was Managing Director and Head of Sales at LarrainVial, a Latin American investment bank.

Felipe holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile. He also completed the Executive Private Equity Diploma at Harvard University and London Business School.

Juan Pablo Hernandez joined HMC Capital in 2012 as an Investment Analyst and, since 2015, has served as Head of Real Assets. He leads the investment and management team responsible for real estate strategies and income and development funds in the Andean region.

At HMC Capital, he has supported the distribution of international funds to institutional investors, contributed to asset management and real-sector project structuring, and led the development of private credit strategies secured by real assets and several international real estate transactions. He also participated in the structuring and development of the first residential real estate fund in Peru.

Juan Pablo holds a degree and a master’s degree in Finance from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has also taught Financial Management Fundamentals at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Ricardo Mogrovejo joined HMC Capital in 2015 as CEO of Nevasa HMC and currently serves as CEO of HMC AGF. He leads the company’s strategic initiatives and supervises structuring and operations.

He has more than 25 years of experience in investments and portfolio management at financial institutions focused on savings and investment. Before joining HMC Capital, he was CIO of AFP Capital, part of Grupo Sura, until 2014. Earlier, he worked as an Investment Strategist at Celfin Capital and in the Treasury division of Banco Santander Chile. He also served on the investment team of Bansander AFP within Grupo Santander.

Ricardo holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from Universidad de Concepción and an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Ricardo Morales co-founded HMC Capital in 2009 and currently serves as Executive Chairman. He oversees the firm’s advisory business and third-party products platform, supporting HMC Capital’s growth across Private Equity, Venture/Growth, Credit, and Real Estate strategies.

He has more than 25 years of experience in investments and financial markets. Before founding HMC Capital, he was Partner, Managing Director, and Head of Latin America Institutional Sales at LarrainVial, where he led the firm’s international expansion and helped develop its asset management division. He also participated in the development and distribution of some of the first regional Private Equity and Real Estate funds in Latin America and helped establish exclusive partnerships with international firms such as Blackstone and Och-Ziff. Earlier, he worked as a portfolio manager at CNA Insurance Company and began his career in 1997 as an equity research analyst.

Ricardo holds a master’s degree in Macroeconomics and Financial Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and completed the Executive Private Equity Diploma at Harvard University and London Business School.

Bernardo Queima joined HMC Capital in 2010 as Partner and currently serves as CEO of Gama Investimentos, leading the firm’s commercial and strategic development in Brazil.

He has more than 25 years of experience in capital markets, asset management, and insurance, with leadership roles across sales, products, management, and commercial planning. Before joining HMC Capital, he was senior executive at Icatu Hartford Seguros S.A., a joint venture between Grupo Icatu and Hartford Life. Earlier, he worked at Icatu Investimentos and BBA Asset Manager in Brazil.

Bernardo holds a master’s degree in Finance from IAG PUC-Rio and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from PUC-Rio.

Adriana Rivero joined HMC Capital in 2022 and currently serves as Head of Marketing, overseeing the firm’s positioning, communications, and brand strategy across key markets.

She has more than 15 years of marketing experience, including 12 years in the financial sector. Before joining HMC Capital, she worked at Credicorp Capital, where she led brand positioning and marketing initiatives for Chile, Colombia, Peru, Panama, and the United States. Earlier, she worked at Sura Peru, leading positioning and communication strategies, including public relations, digital marketing, digital transformation projects, and customer experience improvements for the pension fund and wealth management businesses.

Adriana holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from IE Business School.

Sergio Ramon joined HMC Capital in 2025 and serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Brazil, overseeing Operations, Risk & Compliance, including settlement, custody, trading, and operational governance.

With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, Sergio has built his career across investment banking, asset management, and wealth management platforms, with extensive expertise in operational strategy, regulatory compliance, and business transformation.

Before joining HMC Capital, he served as Head of Operations and Customer Service at ASA Asset Management, where he established the firm’s offshore operating model and led the launch offshore investment funds. Prior to that, he spent over two decades at Credit Suisse, holding regional and global leadership roles in post-trade operations. During this period, he managed international teams and was responsible for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives across Brazil, Switzerland, the British Virgin Islands, Bahamas Islands and the Cayman Islands.

Sergio holds an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Guilherme Sousa joined HMC Capital in 2020 as Partner, initially leading the Product team and currently leading Origination in Brazil. He oversees the identification and development of investment opportunities for the firm in the Brazilian market.

He has more than 12 years of asset management experience, with a focus on Private Equity, as well as three years of experience as a CFO. Before joining HMC Capital, he was CFO Latam at Wellhub (formerly Gympass) and CFO at fintech Avante. Earlier, he co-founded Bratus Capital, an asset manager focused on the middle market, and served as Director at GP Investimentos.

Guilherme holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.

Jose Tomas Zenteno joined HMC Capital in 2024 as Alternative Assets Distribution Manager ex-Brazil and currently serves as Head of Placement Latam ex-Brazil. He leads the distribution of alternative investment strategies through institutional channels and high-net-worth clients across the region.

Before joining HMC Capital, he was Institutional Distribution Manager at LarrainVial and worked in the Equities and Fixed Income areas at Consorcio Compañías de Seguros, gaining experience in client coverage, product positioning, and portfolio management.

José Tomás holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Economics from Universidad de Chile and an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Toshihisa Watabe joined HMC Capital in 2021 as Country Head – Mexico, leading HMC Capital’s operations in the country and the firm’s development in the Mexican market.

Before joining HMC Capital, he was Head of Latin America at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York. During his tenure at the firm, he held roles including VP – Country Head for Brazil, Central America, and Colombia, as well as AVP – Global Relationship Manager for Latin America.

Toshihisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a specialization in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University in Boston.
